San Miguel Corporation (SMC) declares cash dividend (common) at P0.35 per share with ex-date on July 5, 2011 to stockholders as of record date – July 8, 2011. Payment date will be on July 22, 2011.

SMC had their annual shareholding meeting yesterday – June 7, 2011. Stockholders may check out the Circular No. 4342-2011 dated June 7, 2011 for more information and details on the said cash dividend declaration.

The Ayala Corporation (AC) in its Corporate Disclosure dated April 18, 2011 has made a declaration of 20% stock dividend. This is to increase their authorized capital stock of the said corporation. As a still rather new stock investor, I am just as tempted to buy some shares just as I have been thinking for quite sometime.According to the disclosure, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will determine the record date of those stock holders who will be entitled to such stock dividend.
