Terminator Salvation is the newest upcoming American science fiction (sci-fi) thriller and the newest addition to the ever popular Terminator series. Terminator Salvation, a post-apocalyptic war film, is set for release on June 4th 2009 in Australia, June 3th 2009 in the UK and May 21st 2009 for the United States.
John Connor, played by Christian Bale, is slated to drive and direct the war raged between the collective human civilizations and the ferociously charging Skynet. The Skynet is accompanied by the army of Terminators. Marcus Wright is a stranger whose real identity is quite a puzzle for Connor, but the two team up. At first you’re not sure whether Marcus is from the past of future, but as they race forth into the very heart of the Skynet operations, they stand to face a baffling secret! This secret could be really dangerous.
This is another blockbuster for this season and for this film series. It also stars Sam Worthington, Moon Bloodgood and Anton Yelchin. The script is written by John D. Brancato. Directed by McG, it is the fourth film in the Terminator series and it is the first film in the series to receive the PG-13 certificate in the USA.
