With the upcoming release of X-Men Origins: Wolverine this coming May 1, 2009, it looks like I might get to see some real Wolverine actions. Short Summary: Wolverine lives a mutant life, seeks revenge against Victor Creed (who will later become Sabretooth) for the death of his girlfriend, and ultimately ends up going through the mutant Weapon X program.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is directed by South African filmmaker Gavin Hood, of the Oscar winner Tsotsi and Rendition previously. The script was written by veteran screenwriter David Benioff, of 25th Hour, Troy, and The Kite Runner previosuly. The character of Wolverine was first created by Len Wein and John Romita Sr. back in 1974.
Natasha Richardson Brain Dead after a Ski Accident. Natasha Richardson has been declared brain dead after a ski accident last Monday at a Canadian resort. Reports, said to be confirmed have Richardson being flown to New York so that friends and family say goodbye when they switch off life support.
Natasha Richardson was said to be on a beginners run, and was not wearing a ski helmet. She was also with her two sons at the time. Natasha Richardson was feeling fine for an hour after falling during a private skiing lesson at the said Canadian Ski resort. Around an hour later she collapsed, and only then was it discovered that she’d suffered major head trauma.
Also, TMZ is denying the reports, saying that she was just being transferred to a New York City hospital to be treated for swelling of the brain.

U2 has announced dates for the U2 360 Tour in 2009. The U2 360° Tour will visit 14 cities across Europe finishing at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on August 22. The European tour will be followed by dates in North America beginning at Chicago’s Soldier Field on September 12th, 2009.

Story: As Harry Potter begins his 6th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he discovers an old book marked mysteriously "This book is the property of the Half-Blood Prince" and begins to learn more about Lord Voldemort's dark past. In 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,' the specter of the evil Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) hangs over Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and the students of Hogwarts as Dumbledore (Sir Michael Gambon) sets out to prepare our hero for the final battle (with a little help from new professor Horace Slughorn (Jim Broadbent), who may hold crucial information). Meanwhile, hormones are racing among the students thanks to a powerful love potion and Harry, Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) find themselves drawn to some, avoiding others and grappling with growing jealousy.

Funny People is an upcoming 2009 American comedy-drama film, written, co-produced, and directed by Judd Apatow, starring Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen as stand up comedians. The film is a co-production between Happy Madison Productions and Apatow Productions. Universal Pictures and Columbia Pictures will co-finance the film, while Universal will distribute worldwide. The movie is due and will be released on July 31, 2009.
George Simmons (Adam Sandler) is a very successful yet self-involved stand-up comedian who learns that he has an inoperable blood disorder and is given less than a year to live. Ira Wright (Seth Rogen) is a struggling up-and-coming stand-up comedian who works at a deli and has yet to figure out his onstage persona. One thing these different men have in common is that neither of them have any close friends. One night, George takes notice of Ira when they perform at the same club and he hires him to be his semi-personal assistant and opening act at his performances. George and Ira form a close bond as George teaches Ira how to win the crowd and Ira helps the dying George find closure in his legacy.
